Searching For Offense

Although both teams have been relatively solid offensively (Milwaukee’s 53-point opener excluded), neither have resembled anything close to the brand of fluid and selfless offense that’s generally on display in the NBA proper.

Both the Bucks and Kings have posted low assist numbers through their games to date, relying heavily on individual outbursts and iso-heavy actions. While both teams do have players who can carry their team in that manner, it leaves plenty of room for variance.

If either team can get into a groove where they’re zipping the ball around to create and make open scoring chances, this game could become a blowout in a hurry.

On the other hand, individuals like Rashad Vaughn, D.J. Wilson, De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield and Frank Mason III are all capable of running with the hot hand and guiding their team home. This game could just boil down to who finds their rhythm, and who doesn’t.
