Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from loss to Sacramento Kings
By Ti Windisch
Bad days for two-ways
Both of the Milwaukee Bucks two-way contract players, Bronson Koenig and Jalen Moore, struggled mightily on Wednesday night. Koenig seemed upset about not getting the ball when he was open early on behind the arc, leading him to take some ugly shots.
Koenig ended the night with six points on five shot attempts, as well as one rebound. That’s not a horrible game strictly by the numbers, but some of Koenig’s shots after he didn’t touch the ball enough were downright bad. That’s not a good thing for a player who is billed as an accurate sharpshooter.
Moore, on the other hand, did have downright bad numbers on Wednesday night. He posted a goose egg, zero points on five shot attempts in 10 minutes. He did put up an assist, a block and a steal in that time at least.
Still, 0-5 shooting in 10 minutes is very bad. The Bucks wasted no time in locking in their two-way contracts for the coming season, and Summer League means nothing, but there hasn’t been a ton of reason to be inspired by Koenig and Moore thus far.
