Although Spencer Hawes was able to increase his 2K rating over the course of this past season, I do not think that trend will continue. In fact, after playing just 171 minutes for the Bucks and being mostly out of the team’s rotation, his overall rating could easily fall back into the low-70s.

His averages all dropped, including minutes, once he was traded to Milwaukee and with Thon Maker and Greg Monroe clearly ahead in the rotation, Hawes does not seem to be a part of the plans for this next season.

Hawes does have the benefit of being a reasonable three-point shooter as a big man, but as we will find out later, that didn’t make a difference in the case of Mirza Teletovic.
