Saturday, November 11

This 7.30 p.m. start time game against the Los Angeles Lakers will be fun for a few reasons. First and foremost, it’s Milwaukee’s return to homecourt for the first time in four games. The Bucks will have been away for over a week and a half, one of the longest spans between home games for the team all season.

Plus, the appeal of the new-look Lakers can’t be overlooked. Love or hate LaVar Ball, his son Lonzo looks to be an incredible talent at point guard, and with Magic Johnson leading the way these Lakers are looking to regain the franchise’s luster right away, even if it takes longer for the wins to follow.

An entertaining bad team is the best of both worlds, when they’re an opponent. The Bucks project to be pretty good this season — they should be able to handle Los Angeles at home. Fans get a good chance at watching a winning effort from their team, plus they get a good show.

The game taking place on Saturday night certainly doesn’t hurt either. A Saturday night spent watching the Bucks take on the Lakers in their first home game in 11 days? That sounds like an ideal centerpiece for a great weekend.
