While Milwaukee has produced some fabulous players through the years. They have also been unlucky to have been struck down with some of the most severe and gruelling injuries in sports.
Some of these injuries have led to season long injury lay offs, while others meant that players never returned to their previous standards again.
When ranking an injury, one must first analyse several factors:
- The injury itself, and how it came about
- The impact it had on the player and the time missed as a result
- The record and reputation the player had before the injury
- What they were able to achieve post-injury
So essentially, the exact same injury to a 21-year-old and a 36-year-old would be ranked accordingly. As the 36-year-old would seemingly have accomplished more in his career, the impact would not be nearly as severe as the injury to the younger player, who may never be the same player again.
As we continue to work our way through the franchise’s past as a part of our Bucks History Month, let us now rank the worst injuries in franchise history.
