How does Teletovic fit in?

Looking on the outside, the pathway for Teletovic to earn minutes looks a lot more open than it was at times during last season heading into the new year.

With the departure of Michael Beasley this offseason as well as Jabari Parker deep in the throws of his rehabilitation following his second ACL tear in three years, the Bucks are thin at the 4-spot and especially behind star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Between Teletovic and rookie D.J. Wilson, there’s ample opportunity for either one or possibly both to assert themselves in the team’s rotation as we go deeper into the season.

Of course, with head coach Jason Kidd at the helm, Teletovic may be in a better position to prove himself over the inexperienced Wilson, at least in the opening weeks or maybe even month(s) of the year.

Depending on his form, Teletovic could parlay that into becoming one of the first players coming off the bench for the team on a consistent basis. That still remains a big if at this point and it will be interesting to watch how long of a leash Kidd may have with Teletovic, especially if his shooting struggles carry over into this year.
