Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 104-86 loss to Indiana Pacers
All aboard the Kha$h cab
As he did earlier in the week in the team’s first preseason duel, Khris Middleton was one of very few bright spots for the Bucks last night.
In his 20 minutes of action, Middleton scored eight points on 3-8 shooting from the field (1-3 from deep), and racked up five rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal.
Middleton displayed the same smooth play that we’ve come to expect from him as he’s grown as a player signficantly over the last few years. He stood as one of only a couple of players for the Bucks who could create scoring opportunities on the night, whether it was for himself or for others.
However, Middleton couldn’t escape from the team’s overall sloppy play statistically as he registered four turnovers on the night.
Even under his abbreviated outings in the preseason, it’s definitely reassuring to see Middleton look close to what could be considered regular season form and under different circumstances by acting as the team’s go-to option.
