How does Snell fit in?

Snell, put simply, is the ideal wing to inject into this lineup next to Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo, as a high usage superstar, doesn’t need another high usage “ball hog” to play beside him. What Antetokounmpo most desires is an off ball “three-and-D” specialist who will give his all on both ends of the floor, which is exactly what Snell is.

Last season, Snell thrived on the open looks he was able to gain, through the drive and kick game of Antetokounmpo and to an extent, Khris Middleton and Jabari Parker. Essentially, more of the same is all that is required of Snell to fit right into a Jason Kidd-run Bucks’ system.

Snell is also an excellent defender, and last season, he was often found defending the opposition’s best wing player. At 6’7″ tall and a wingspan of almost 7’0″, Snell is the ideal body type to suit this current Milwaukee defensive scheme.

Along with guys like Antetokounmpo, Middleton, Thon Maker, and Malcolm Brogdon, Snell formed one of the more competent position-less systems in the league last year. The ability for each player to switch defensive assignment at any given time, allowed Milwauke to excel down the stretch, heading into the playoffs.

Once again, much of the same, will be required for Snell to perfectly fit this system and propel Milwaukee toward success on the back of their defensive system.
