Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 107-103 win over Detroit Pistons
There’s no stopping Giannis
Even in preseason, there’s no shortage of superlatives you can use when talking about 22-year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo. Giannis’ talents were on full display once again and despite a moderately effective shooting night from the field, he stuffed the stat sheet as he is often prone to do.
In 27 minutes of action, Antetokounmpo scored a team-high 17 points (on 6-of-14 shooting from the field), registered six rebounds, dished out six assists, recorded five blocks and finished with a plus-minus of +12.
Throughout his stints on the floor, Antetokounmpo controlled the game on both ends of the floor, whether it was his passing, how he muscled his way to the basket or his emphatic rejections at the rim, of which there were many.

That’s not even counting what would have been an instant highlight where Anetokounmpo strolled down the paint to send home an emphatic slam, to only instead catch the rim and miss the attempt entirely.
With the start of the regular season just around the corner, it’s reassuring to see Antetokounmpo can only play at one mode, no matter when it is.
