Starting the season as an end of the bench player, Thon Maker found himself starting during the second half of the season. Even though he would only play in short spurts, Maker was being exposed to the best competition as he developed his raw game.

However, Thon did prove in his starts that he has the capacity to see a slight increase in playing time for this season. If that is the case, Thon should be able to see his statistics look more promising than last season.

Scoring is tough for Maker as he is currently built, as he is not yet big enough to finish at the rim, but he can be stretched out to the perimeter. His impact will be felt as a rim protector sheerly due to his 7’3” wingspan, and he will have some emphatic blocks.
