James Young
After experiencing three wayward seasons with the Boston Celtics, James Young will look to get his professional career back on track by suiting up for the Herd this season.
Young was the first of the few players the Bucks brought in for their training camp before the season, but the 22-year-old didn’t register an appearance with the team during their preseason. While there was some speculation whether he would ultimately be signed to one of the team’s two-way contract slots, Young will go to Oshkosh as an affiliate player for the Herd.
During his three years in Boston, Young averaged 2.3 points on 36.7 percent shooting from the field and 26.7 percent from deep over 89 total appearances.
Whether Oshkosh will be the place of rejuvenation for the Michigan native will be the big question, but he’ll certainly get plenty of opportunity to reclaim his forgettable career up until this point.
