Wisconsin Herd: Getting to know the training camp roster
Kuran Iverson
A cousin of Hall of Famer Allen Iverson, Kuran Iverson comes to the Herd as the third of the four players they brought in via tryouts. The Connecticut native is fresh off the heels of finishing his collegiate career, which was split between playing for two schools.
Iverson spent his first two seasons at the University of Memphis, where he played a minimal role for the Tigers. But during his sophomore season, Iverson transferred from the school under unceremonious terms.
However, Iverson rebounded by landing at the University of Rhode Island where he played a vital part for the team.
With the Rams, Iverson averaged 9.7 points on 47.6 percent shooting from the field (32.8 percent shooting from deep), 7.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 blocks per game across 63 total appearances.
