Keep Vaughn keeping on

Coming into Sunday afternoon, Rashad Vaughn had only saw the court for a grand total of four minutes and had been listed as inactive for the last three games for the Bucks.

In yesterday’s meeting with the Hawks, head coach Jason Kidd decided to unleash Vaughn as the 21-year-old earned his first extended look of the season and made the most of it as a result.

The first Buck off the bench, Vaughn provided the spark the Bucks have been looking for from their cluster of reserves. Vaughn scored all 12 of his points in a matter of minutes from the latter stages of the first quarter to the second, all coming from downtown.

Along with his scoring outburst, Vaughn chipped in three rebounds and two assists in over 20 minutes of play.

With the decision on his fourth-year option looming, Vaughn is trying to prove all that he can to extend his future in Milwaukee beyond this season.
