Hey, must be the money!

Khris Middleton broke out of his funk in an emphatic way as he put in his most comprehensive performance of the young season.

Scoring a career-high 43 points on 15-of-28 shooting from the field (5-of-11 from deep), Middleton was downright electric from all areas of the floor and single-handedly kept the Bucks in the game for as long they did before succumbing to the loss.

The Bucks relied on Middleton to steady the ship with Giannis Antetokounmpo dealing with his foul trouble from midway through the second period on, to which he did the best he could under those circumstances.

But by far, the most welcomed part of his performance last night was how he fared from beyond the arc as that had been a notable sore spot two weeks into the season. That certainly was bolstered with his late scoring outburst as three of Middleton’s three-point makes came in the final few minutes of the game.

Along with his spectacular scoring performance, Middleton chipped in five rebounds and seven assists. It’s certainly tough to see his historic night get spoiled with the loss, but it’s good to see Middleton rebound in a big way as he did last night.
