9. Sterling Brown

What he provides

No judgments can be made from Sterling Brown’s limited minutes of NBA action so far this year. Instead, teams will likely be judging Brown from his college career, where he showcased his three-point shooting on offense and rangy length on defense.

Contract situation

Brown’s current deal is a three-year contract worth just under $4 million total. After that, he is scheduled to enter restricted free-agency, making the deal very team-friendly.

Potential Suitors

Drafted 46th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, nothing Brown has done since the draft will have led his value to sky-rocket or tank.

Perhaps, a team with injury troubles, who was high on Brown during last year’s draft, would be interested in parting with a second round pick to acquire the young swingman.
