Major key for Milwaukee – Keep Khris Middleton in rhythm

As Eric Bledsoe continues to adjust to life with his new teammates, works his way up to full physical sharpness, and potentially battles knee soreness, the Bucks still need Khris Middleton to carry his share of the offensive load.

Middleton has certainly been inconsistent throughout the season, but the flashes of his top performance level have still been there. Most recently, Middleton’s performance in the Bucks’ last game against the Grizzlies saw him successfully slide back into some of his old ways.

The 26-year-old had 17 points on 4-of-5 from deep against Memphis, delivering easily his most efficient three-point shooting night of the season.

Middleton has a reputation for leaning into shooting a heavy dose of tough contested midrange shots, but he’s undoubtedly at his best when he’s out behind the arc. Still at just 30.6 percent from distance for the season overall, the Bucks need to encourage Middleton to take his strong shooting performance from Monday and look to build on it and maintain his rhythm on Wednesday.
