Bledsoe turning it up

Eric Bledsoe went back to the locker room at half time with just one made field goal to his name. In the second half, he came out with a much more aggressive approach and it paid off.

If you haven’t already noticed, good things happen when Bledsoe goes into attack mode.

On this occasion, Bledsoe finished with 18 points, seven assists, two rebounds, two steals and a block.

Much of Bledsoe’s second half joy came from getting to the rim. Bledsoe’s strength and athleticism combine to make him an excellent finisher around the basket, and he’s particularly adept at drawing contact and finishing with opportunities for and-ones.

Bledsoe is still trying to adjust to his new team, how his teammates play, and how the coaching staff want him to operate, but there are times when he needs to just simplify the game and attack. That’s when he’s at his best, and it’s when he’ll be most valuable to Milwaukee.
