King to watch – Buddy Hield

Points don’t come easy for the Sacramento Kings.

Heading into Tuesday’s matchup with the Bucks, Dave Joerger’s team rank second last in the NBA in terms of points per game (95.1) and are also second last in offensive rating (97.4).

If there’s one player capable of getting hot and bucking that trend, though, it’s likely Buddy Hield.

Although Hield has yet to live up to his college career since turning pro, he has shown himself to be a steady pro with good scoring instincts and a soft shooting touch.

Hield is averaging 12.0 points in his 22.6 minutes per game, and notably shooting 44.2 percent on 4.3 three-point attempts.

Milwaukee boasts a variety of accomplished wing defenders who should be able to limit Hield’s impact, but at the same time, the 23-year-old is exactly the type of player who has caused the Bucks countless problems of late.
