Wisconsin Herd make winning start in Oshkosh, defeat Iowa Wolves 116-109

Who’s next?
Next up on the schedule for the Herd will be a trip to Michigan to play the Grand Rapids Drive, who they’ll take on at the DeltaPlex Arena on Monday night at 6pm CT. As usual, the game will be streamed live on Facebook Live through the G League’s home page).
The Drive, affiliate of the Detroit Pistons, have had an up-and-down start to the season up until this point, and at the time of writing they find themselves with a below .500 record of 6-8.
Although they haven’t lacked firepower on the very rare occasions that Luke Kennard and former Marquette star Henry Ellenson have made the trip down from Detroit, the Drive have struggled for a scoring punch otherwise.
Dwight Buycks is averaging 22.9 points per game, but Grand Rapids have to deal with a major drop-off beyond him.
Scoring just 98.2 points per game as opposed to Wisconsin’s 109.9, if the Drive want to grab a win on Monday, they’ll need to lock in and grind it out defensively.

For Herd fans, the game will also provide some added local interest, as former Wisconsin Badger and original Herd two-way signee Bronson Koenig will likely be playing for the Drive on Monday.
