Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: Dec. 9 vs Utah Jazz
By Adam McGee
Major key for Utah – Slow down the Big Three
Averaging just under a combined 70 points per game over Milwaukee’s last 10 games, the Bucks’ new Big Three of Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton have well and truly hit their stride.
Antetokounmpo continues to build his case for MVP votes, Middleton has shaken off any ill-effects of a slow start, and Bledsoe is influencing the team’s play more and more on both ends of the floor with every passing game.
The Jazz have the personnel, system and track record to suggest that they can play up to the task of stopping Milwaukee’s talented trio, but they will be certainly tested in the process.
Bledsoe and Antetokounmpo continue to build chemistry in the pick-and-roll, and even when Khris Middleton isn’t scoring, he has shown an increased willingness and accuracy in throwing alley-oop passes to teammates.
The Bucks’ offensive threat hasn’t been this dynamic for a long time, and even against a good team, if they’re on their game, the Jazz will be hard-pushed to find answers.
