Bull to watch – Kris Dunn

As the Bulls have rounded into some good form of late, they’ve had important contributions from the likes of Lauri Markkanen and Nikola Mirotic, but Kris Dunn has been the beating heart of the team.

Dunn is playing largely as he was expected to prior to coming into the league in the summer of 2016. That’s to say he still hasn’t really figured out how to knock down shots at a high level, but is capable of positively influencing the game for his team across the floor.

Over the Bulls’ intriguing last five games, Dunn has shot even worse than usual (splits of 420/010/647), but has been very efficient otherwise.

With only two turnovers per game in that run, Dunn is posting 16.0 points, 7.6 assists, 6.0 rebounds and 2.2 steals over his last five matchups.

With Eric Bledsoe, the Bucks have a point guard capable of giving Dunn all that he can handle on both ends of the floor, and how the 23-year-old responds will likely be a deciding factor in Friday’s game.
