Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: Dec 22 vs Charlotte Hornets
By Adam McGee
Major key for Milwaukee – Battle on the boards
The Bucks are still the NBA’s worst rebounding team, and against the Charlotte Hornets that can pose significant challenges.
Milwaukee averages 38.5 rebounds per game with a 47.4 rebounding percentage, while the Hornets grab 46.8 boards per game with a 51.6 rebounding percentage.
In other words, although the Hornets have been really struggling of late and are massively underachieving with a record of 11-20, there’s a very clear path to victory for them against Milwaukee.
In order to stick around with the Hornets and allow themselves the chance to exploit their many weaknesses, the Bucks will need John Henson, Thon Maker and Giannis Antetokounmpo to lead the way on the glass, and the rest of the team’s players will also need to step up with contributions of their own.
