Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: Dec 26 vs Chicago Bulls
By Adam McGee
Bull to watch – Nikola Mirotic
It’s been quite the eventful season already for Nikola Mirotic, but following the highly publicized bust-up he had with teammate Bobby Portis and the injury he sustained as a result, the Montenegrin forward has come back playing some of the best basketball of his NBA career.
Through nine games, Mirotic is averaging 17.9 points and 7.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 50.5 percent from the field and 48 percent from deep.
The Bucks previously faced Mirotic as part of a five game run of scoring at least 20 points per game, but the 26-year-old has cooled off a little and is averaging only 13 points across his last three games.
Efficient shooters like Mirotic are almost guaranteed plenty of opportunities against the Bucks, and if he can take them, Milwaukee may find themselves in a lot of trouble again on Tuesday night.
