Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 97-95 win over Oklahoma City Thunder

In what was arguably his most effective and impactful performance of the season, John Henson had his cake and ate it too in his post-birthday bash on Friday night.
Remembering the damage Thunder big man Steven Adams inflicted on the Bucks in their Halloween duel, it was fair to come into last night’s game with lowered expectations when it came to their particular matchup.
But Henson more than held his own against the 24-year-old New Zealander as he routinely got the better of him throughout the night by keeping him off the glass as well as doing damage, specifically with his left hook, with Adams doing his best to slow Henson down to no avail.
All in all, Henson scored 18 points on 8-of-12 shooting from the field, six rebounds, four blocks, two assists and held a plus-minus of +2 for the game.
It was the exact type of performance the Bucks needed out of the now 27-year-old and to not only nullify but practically silence Oklahoma City’s brutish big man, Adams, was something we wouldn’t have seen out of Henson until this year, to be quite honest.
