Bringing the NBA to a halt

Bucks Receive: Tristan Thompson, Jae Crowder, Jeff Green

Cavaliers Receive: DeMarcus Cousins, Sean Kilpatrick

Pelicans Receive: John Henson, Jabari Parker, Thon Maker, 2018 Nets 1st Round Pick

This trade would be a blockbuster in today’s NBA. All three teams involved would be trading major assets and would surely be risking a lot in completing the deal. If New Orleans continues to stay below .500, they would surely pursue ways to get value for Cousins, and the Nets pick from Cleveland would be very enticing.

The Cavaliers would get another star to help them in their chase to defeat the Warriors, and the Pelicans would be able to get a high pick in a loaded 2018 draft. When Milwaukee starts to get involved, things really get interesting.

Acquiring a tenacious rebounder and defender in Tristan Thompson would be a valuable addition to this Bucks team, and Crowder and Green would be nice bench pieces.

However, the cost needs to be taken into consideration. John Henson has been playing well this year, Jabari Parker still has tremendous upside, and Thon Maker, though he has regressed this season, still has the tools to put it together.

Not to mention that this trade would push Milwaukee over the luxury tax threshold, which could lock in this team for seasons to come.
