Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 110-103 win over Orlando Magic
Giannis the Adonis
Much like the team’s performance, Giannis Antetokounmpo bounced back in a big way against the Magic Wednesday night.
It was slow starting for the reigning Most Improved Player, however, as he was seemingly picking his spots early on and was a little more keen on setting up others rather than himself when the ball came his way.
But coming out of halftime, Antetokounmpo turned up the heat and was hunting for his own scores to great success. This was something he touched on after the game as Matt Velazquez of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel transcribed in his recap of Wednesday night’s game:
"“Yeah, it’s something I’m working on,” he said. “I have a long way to go. I just want to set the tone in the third quarter and come out there in the fourth quarter and finish the game. … That’s a theme, for example (in) Washington, that’s a theme that I’m working on and moving forward I want to keep doing it.”"
In total, Giannis put up 26 points on 10-of-15 shooting from the field (6-of-10 from the charity stripe), seven rebounds and had an assist and block each.
