20/20 vision

At times in Monday’s game against the Washington Wizards, Giannis Antetokounmpo looked completely exhausted. Day time back-to-backs are an incredibly rare occurrence in the NBA and if anyone was going to feel the ill effects it would likely be the league’s minutes leader.

Instead, Antetokounmpo found a way to deliver the kind of dominant performance that allows opponents no real way of stopping him.

The 23-year-old didn’t have his most efficient shooting night as his 27 points came on 9-of-23 from the field, but he more than made up for that by grabbing a career-high 20 rebounds, dishing out six assists and adding in two rejections for good measure.

Speaking of his star player’s first 20-point, 20-rebound game after the fact, coach Jason Kidd noted:

"“Just shows he’s going to do everything to put his team in a position to win.”"

Not only did Giannis put the Bucks in a position to win, but he drove them across the finish line too.
