Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: January 17 vs Miami Heat

Major key for Miami – Share the scoring load
While the Heat have no problem applying the pressure on the defensive end, they may be hard pushed to match up with a team like the Bucks offensively.
The Heat average 103.7 points per 100 possessions, leaving them 23rd in the NBA in offensive rating. For comparison, the Bucks are ranked in eighth place with an offensive rating of 107.4.
Miami doesn’t have the luxury of the frontline scoring options that are at Milwaukee’s disposal, and without those kind of obvious offensive stars they’re often required to score by committee.
Goran Dragic is the Heat’s clear scoring leader at 17.3 points per game, but the contributions of Hassan Whiteside, Josh Richardson, Wayne Ellington, Tyler Johnson, Kelly Olynyk and James Johnson behind him shouldn’t be underestimated.
Miami boasts eight players averaging 10 points or more for the season to date, and so their opponents have to be prepared for any one of their supporting cast stepping up on any given night.
