Heat to watch – Goran Dragic

In any conversation about the best current players never to have made an All-Star game, it can’t be long before the attention turns to Goran Dragic.

Much like Mike Conley, another player who figures in that discussion, perhaps Dragic’s case has been hurt over the years by just how steady he is as opposed to random outbursts of the spectacular.

Throughout Dragic’s career, there’s been no doubt that his teams have been grateful of that consistency, and that has been in evidence on the season to date with the Heat.

Dragic is averaging 17.3 points, 4.9 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game on 43.8 percent from the field and 35.7 percent from deep.

Milwaukee got a taste of just how dangerous Dragic could be as he scored 25 points on 9-of-17 from the field and 4-of-6 from three-point range in the Sunday matchup between the teams. He poses easily the biggest threat on this Heat roster, so if the Bucks can slow him down it will go a long way toward slowing the Heat down overall.
