Even ‘Soe

After a rather unmemorable performance last time out, Eric Bledsoe got back to the basics to more encouraging results on Monday night against the Suns, his former team.

All night long, Bledsoe was looking to attack the rack instead of primarily opting to pull up from mid-range or from the perimeter. With that mindset, Bledsoe delivered by sending home excellent finishes as well as making his way to the free throw line (Bledsoe converted seven of his 11 free throw attempts on the night).

Bledsoe backed that up by bringing the pressure on the defensive end and played a key part in forcing some of the Suns’ many turnovers and generating offense that way for the Bucks (they finished with 26 points scored off of the Suns’ 21 turnovers for the night).

All in all, Bledsoe posted 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field (0-of-2 from beyond the arc), seven assists, four steals as well as four turnovers, three rebounds, a block and was a +14.

Not only was it a solid bounce back game, but Bledsoe responded well in light of the day’s events and hopefully we’ll see him keep that type of attacking mentality throughout the remainder of the year.
