Concerning takeaway

Having been a lingering issue all year long, the Herd’s penchant for being turnover prone shone through once again against the Bayhawks.

On the day, the Herd committed 24 turnovers, the second-highest count for them on the season so far.

As has been the case when they’ve compiled as many miscues like they did Wednesday afternoon, many of the Herd’s turnovers were unforced and the Bayhawks were quick to gobble them up and capitalized off of easy buckets with odd-man breaks in the open floor.

Considering the game finished off as close as it did, those missed or mishandled opportunities easily stand out as something that held the Herd back from potentially prevailing over the Bayhawks to help them get of their current rut.
