Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: January 26 vs Brooklyn Nets
By Adam McGee
Net to watch – Spencer Dinwiddie
The Brooklyn Nets desperately need all of the offensive help they can get, and although he’s not particularly efficient, Spencer Dinwiddie has shown a notable ability to come up big when it matters.
Dinwiddie has three game-winning shots this season across games against the Pistons, Cavaliers and Timberwolves, and with averages of 13.4 points, 6.4 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game, he’s proving that he belongs in the NBA and can be a real difference maker from night to night.
The Nets are a relatively unselfish team by design — they need to be considering what they lack in talent in certain departments — and so the Bucks can expect the ball to move and for multiple players to get in on the act if Brooklyn plays well.
Considering the injuries to Jeremy Lin and D’Angelo Russell so far this season, Dinwiddie has been integral to keeping things respectable for Brooklyn and giving the team a season that can have real value for multiple players in terms of development.
If the Bucks don’t pay him the respect he has now earned, he could hurt them on Friday.
