Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: January 28 at Chicago Bulls
By Adam McGee
Major key for Milwaukee – Play some defense
In two losses to the Bulls this season, the Bucks have allowed 115 points to their Chicago rivals in both games.
Considering only the Sacramento Kings have performed worse this season than the Bulls’ offensive rating of 101.7, that’s certainly not something to be proud of.
The Bucks will need to find some answers to slow down the frontcourt assault that the Bulls have employed to great success against them on the year to date, but that will extend to shoring up long-time weaknesses of giving up high quality looks at the rim and from the perimeter.
With the exception of a horrid third quarter showing against the Nets on Friday, there have been some positive signs in terms of Milwukee’s defense over their last two games without Jason Kidd at the helm, and they’ll need that to continue if they’re to break out of their strange slump against the Bulls.
