Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 110-96 win over Chicago Bulls
The Greek streak
It took a while for him to find a rhythm, but Giannis Antetokounmpo eventually was on point with his play against the Bulls Sunday afternoon.
In just over 34-and-a-half minutes, Giannis posted 27 points on 11-of-19 shooting from the field (5-of-10 from the line), nine rebounds, eight assists, three turnovers, a steal and block each and was a +8 on the day.
After opening up the game 0-of-5 from the field, Antetokounmpo caught fire as he hit a variety of stepback jumpers, post fadeaways and was his usual self by bowling through the paint to put up dazzling finishes at the bucket.
Along with that, Giannis was instrumental in setting up scoring opportunities for others as well as attacking the glass to pull down his multiple rebounding opportunities throughout the game, all to boost his case to flirt with a potential triple-double, which would be unrealized in the end.
With Prunty’s deliberate plan to keep Giannis’ minutes and overall workload set to defined intervals of time, it was all in a day’s work for the Bucks superstar to help continue the Bucks’ recent winning ways.
