Milwaukee Bucks: Takeaways from 110-96 win over Chicago Bulls
A spark from beyond the arc
As alluded to before, a key element of the Bucks’ performance against the Bulls was their effective three-point shooting. On the day, the Bucks went 13-of-28 from beyond the arc, a slight advantage over the Bulls’ 12-of-34 shooting from long range.
While the Bucks’ shooters from their starting unit relatively delivered, minus Eric Bledsoe, it was the players from the second unit that rose up to the occasion to give the team a boost in this regard.
The notable standout was 19-year-veteran Jason Terry, who delivered his best performance of the season as he scored 12 points on 4-of-6 shooting from downtown. Along with that, Matthew Dellavedova and Sterling Brown chipped in two three-point makes of their own while Rashad Vaughn hit a late three in the waning moments of the game.
It was an encouraging sight to see and although we’re still dealing with a small sample size up until this point, things have certainly been trending upwards under Prunty when it comes to the Bucks’ three-point output.
