Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: February 1 at Minnesota Timberwolves

Major key for Minnesota – Win the turnover battle
The Timberwolves can often rely on comfortably getting the better of their opponents in the turnover battle, but they may find that a little bit tougher on Thursday night.
Minnesota ranks second best in the NBA with just 12.5 turnovers per game, while also excelling in forcing their opponents into giveaways as the league’s fourth best steals team at 8.9 per game.
With Milwaukee, they’ll face a team who are similarly skilled in that department, though. The Bucks rank sixth best in terms of turnovers (13.7) and fifth best in steals (8.6), while the Bucks’ steals have risen to 10.0 per game over their last four with the departure of Jason Kidd and his defensive scheme.
With both teams ranked among the NBA’s 10 best in scoring off turnovers and limiting their opponents in scoring off turnovers, the team that can come out in top on that regard on Thursday will have an excellent chance of taking away the win.
