Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: February 4 at Brooklyn Nets
By Adam McGee
Major key for Milwaukee – Don’t allow Brooklyn to find a rhythm
The chances are that neither team will have their best shooting night with such an unfamiliar early start time. Much like it was when the teams played nine days ago, though, the biggest threat to the Bucks would come in allowing the Nets to get any kind of rhythm going.
Brooklyn have the worst field goal percentage in the NBA, and rank 28th in three-point percentage. While the Nets don’t necessarily make threes at the most efficient rate, they are second in the NBA in terms of attempts from deep per game.
In the last meeting between the teams, the Bucks managed to put up an outstanding shooting night of their own, while the Nets floundered at 37.1 percent from the field and 23.5 percent from deep.
Any kind of repeat of that would lead to an easy Bucks win, but they’ll need to respect Brooklyn’s shooting, particularly from the likes of Joe Harris and Nik Stauskas, to ensure they don’t get burned by a rare hot shooting night from the Nets.
