Net to watch – DeMarre Carroll

Sent to Brooklyn from Toronto as part of a salary dump deal in the summer, DeMarre Carroll has responded with a much healthier season than he’s managed to produce for quite some time, and one of the best years of his career overall.

Carroll is showing more athleticism than he’s been able to display due to injury for quite some time, and it’s allowed him to combine smooth movement with a tenacious attitude to make a real impact on both ends of the floor.

Carroll isn’t the kind of guy who is likely to post a gaudy scoring game and single-handedly drag his team to victory, but when he’s at his best he often provides and infectious energy that can carry his teammates along to better performances with him.

The Bucks will need to be wary of Carroll on drives and in catch-and-shoot scenarios, while you can be sure that he’ll make his presence felt defensively too.
