Who needs DeAndre or Hassan?

Other than tweaking his back in the fourth quarter, John Henson had just about as close to a perfect game as he may ever have again.

At a time when the trade deadline is fast approaching and the Bucks have been linked to some high profile centers, Henson provided the perfect response by putting in an incredibly dominant performance on Sunday.

Henson finished with 19 points, 18 rebounds, including a career-high seven offensive boards, three assists and two blocks, while shooting 8-of-14 from the field and finishing with a plus/minus of +22.

There can be no doubt that Henson took full advantage of the relative lack of strength and size on the inside for Brooklyn, but he applied himself with considerable energy throughout the game, which wasn’t necessarily to be a given for any player considering the early start time.

Henson has been having a really excellent season for the Bucks, even though it’s generally more steady than spectacular. The 27-year-old flipped that around on Sunday, and was key to securing a Bucks win.
