Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: February 6 at New York Knicks
By Adam McGee
Major key for New York – Limit turnovers
When these two teams met last Friday, the Knicks dominated the Bucks on the glass and in the paint, moved the ball better, shot similarly mediocre to Milwaukee, and lost by two points.
Although Giannis Antetokounmpo was certainly a decisive factor in that outcome — and one New York can’t immediately replicate — the team’s carelessness with the ball also proved to be particularly costly.
The Knicks turned the ball over 20 times compared to the Bucks’ 11 giveaways, which provided some unnecessary life to a Milwaukee team that was playing with a 21 rebound deficit.
If the Knicks can again use their obvious advantages to get the better of the Bucks inside, the game should be theirs for the taking unless they go out of their way to find ways to allow Milwaukee back in. Countless turnovers would fit that description.
