Who’s next?

Following a week and a half break for this year’s All-Star festivities as well as the G League International Challenge, next on the slate for the Herd will be the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, who they’ll take on February 21 in Menominee Nation Arena at 7 PM central time.

Per usual, you can catch the game on Facebook Live via the G League’s home page.

This will mark the third meeting of the season between both teams as they each have taken a game in the season series so far, with the Herd taking the most recent matchup on February 2 in what has been one of their rare victories since the start of 2018.

As of this writing, the Mad Ants stand as the third seed in the East with a record of 21-15 after having taken down the Maine Red Claws Saturday night.

Like he has all throughout the season, Walter Lemon Jr. was recognized by the league by being named to this year’s Midseason All-NBA G League team as he’s continued to add to his fantastic year by averaging 22.2 points on 48.9 percent shooting from the field, along with 4.6 rebounds and 6 assists in 36 total appearances so far.

Who knows if the following one and a half week break will prove to do some good for the Herd, considering their porous form, but a little recalibration is precisely what this team needs right now.
