Craig Hodges

Three-Point Shootout: 1986-88

Not only is Craig Hodges one of the greatest shooters of all-time, but he dominates the history of the Three-Point Shootout.

Hodges was the long-time record holder in terms of most points in a single round of the Shootout, he still holds the record for consecutive shots made with 19 straight makes en route to his 1991 victory, and he’s tied with Larry Bird for most Three-Point Shootout wins with three.

Unfortunately, Hodges’ wins in the event all coincided with him playing for teams other than the Bucks.

While playing for the Bucks, Hodges participated in three straight Three-Point Shootouts from 1986-88, with the best of those appearances being 1986 when he finished as a runner-up to Larry Bird in the inaugural staging of the event.
