Major key for Milwaukee – Keep up the energy

As the Bucks sleepwalked through multiple quarters during their four-game losing streak, they frequently looked a team that was bereft of confidence and lacking in energy.

Considering the recency of the All-Star Break and some of the Bucks’ positive results before and immediately after the break, that wasn’t all that easy to understand. Still after a brutally poor first quarter against the 76ers on Sunday, Milwaukee undoubtedly found the spark they were missing.

A major part of that could certainly be that Giannis Antetokounmpo was tremendous on Sunday following a couple of weeks of struggles, but it did extend beyond Milwaukee’s best player too.

With the efforts and the level of engagement that was evident from bench players like Jabari Parker, Jason Terry and Tyler Zeller, the Bucks built up their own positive momentum with a mega run in that game, and now they need to look to do the same going forward.

The dramatic fashion of their Sunday win should help the Bucks to overcome some of the effects of fatigue on the second night of a back-to-back. If they bring their Sunday second half intensity from the opening tip in Indianapolis on Monday, they may even have a chance at taking over for a rare, dominant win.
