Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: March 9 vs New York Knicks
By Adam McGee
Major key for New York – Make some shots
With a 1-9 record since Kristaps Porzingis’ injury, it goes without saying that the Knicks are really struggling without their best player.
One area in particular where that’s at it most obvious comes in the shape of the Knicks’ shooting.
Having shot 46.3 percent from the field and 35.3 percent from deep on the season overall, New York’s 10 games without Porzingis have resulted in shooting 45 percent from the field and just 31.6 percent from deep.
Considering their shooting wasn’t elite to begin with, the Knicks certainly couldn’t afford the further drop-off they’ve experienced in the time since, and their hopes of winning any games from now on in will likely hinge on the likes of Tim Hardaway Jr. or Michael Beasley getting red-hot.
