Magic to Watch

As the Magic find themselves mired in the middle of what’s essentially another lost season, there has been one major positive for Frank Vogel’s team.

The Magic have endured years of watching young players fail to develop or giving up on them before they had a chance to develop, but a strong season from Aaron Gordon is helping to buck some of those trends.

Gordon will be a restricted free agent in the summer, so it’s entirely possible that the Magic could yet let him get away too, but at the very least he’s produced more than anyone else on their roster over the course of the current season.

For the year to date, Gordon is averaging 18.3 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

Gordon is a highly skilled player for his size, and it should be a good matchup between him and Giannis Antetokounmpo on Wednesday night.
