Major key for Milwaukee – Start fast

Speaking to the media on Friday, veteran guard Jason Terry decided to call upon some of his teammates for better performances. Specifically, Terry made note of how the starting five need to do a better job of setting the tone.

While starters in today’s NBA can often be arbitrary and don’t always reflect a team’s best players or lineups, Terry’s criticism does point to the one area where they are still really important.

As the Bucks look to build up confidence and get some good feeling going, they could use a really strong start to a game. Essentially, the Bucks need to find a way to produce quarters like the kind they seem to have been giving up with startling regularity of late.

Of course, a perfect four quarter display hasn’t been a common occurrence for the Bucks either, but a strong start certainly wouldn’t go amiss as they look to pick up an important win against a team they should comfortably have the beating of.
