Major key for Chicago – Apply pressure inside

With the Bulls set to be without some of their most creative and talented guards, their best option of attack will come in the frontcourt. Fortunately for them, that’s also one of Milwaukee’s greatest areas of weakness.

The Bulls’ list of available players makes it highly likely that they will be pairing two larger big men together at the power forward/center tandem, even if Lauri Markkanen is unable to play.

Bobby Portis is certain to be involved, and based on his recent history of playing well against the Bucks, there’s no reason to suggest why he won’t have similar success. Cristiano Felicio has had a very mixed season in terms of role, but with his size and the confidence that comes with averaging 14.3 points and 7.0 rebounds in three consecutive starts, he will also be well-equipped to trouble the Bucks.

The Bulls are one of the NBA’s less effective rebounding and paint scoring teams, but considering the recent struggles of John Henson and Thon Maker, there’s plenty of reason for why the matchup could still play to their favor in those departments.
