Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: March 23 at Chicago Bulls
By Adam McGee
Finale
The Bucks are increasingly approaching a point in the season where they’re stuck in a rut. Even if they were to lose out there’s a great chance that they’d fall no lower than their current eighth placed ranking. Similarly, in a competitive playoff landscape, rolling off a strong finish to the season may not be enough to see them move very far in the opposite direction at this point.
Even what all of that considered, it doesn’t belittle the significance of this game or any of those that remain for Joe Prunty’s team. With a first round rematch with the Toronto Raptors looking increasingly likely, the Bucks need to focus on building confidence and finding some form of momentum to carry into the postseason.
Even without Antetokounmpo, this is a game that should offer a perfect opportunity to do that, and although recent form would make it unsurprising if the Bucks found a way to trip up, it wouldn’t make it any less humiliating.
