Milwaukee Bucks Game Preview: March 25 vs San Antonio Spurs

Major key for Milwaukee – Keep pace with the bench
Having managed to secure a win against the lowly Chicago Bulls behind a 70-point contribution from the bench, the Bucks may need a similarly significant contribution on Sunday if they’re to beat the Spurs.
While the Bucks are one of the league’s worst bench scoring teams (26.9 points per game) for the season overall, the Spurs rank fifth in the NBA with an average of 41.5 points per game.
That shouldn’t be all that surprising considering the caliber of players that Gregg Popovich calls upon in his second unit. With Tony Parker‘s recent introduction into the bench group, San Antonio regularly pairs him alongside Manu Ginobili, Rudy Gay, Davis Bertans and Pau Gasol.
The Bucks aren’t going to be able to match the skill level and experience of San Antonio’s bench, but they can at least hope for a high energy performance that would give them a chance of outworking and outshooting them.
