Major key for San Antonio – Find enough offense

Although Milwaukee’s offense is far from aesthetically pleasing most of the time, it remains one of the league’s more effective as they average 107.9 points per 100 possessions.

The Spurs don’t boast a top-10 offense like the Bucks (105.3 points per 100 possessions), so instead they generally rely on a particularly stout defense to get them across the line.

While Boston and Utah seem to be the teams most discussed in terms of defense this season, the Spurs are currently sandwiched right between the two as the NBA’s second best defense, giving up only 101.8 points per 100 possessions.

As a result, San Antonio should be able to slow the Bucks down in terms of scoring on Sunday afternoon, meaning the game could well be decided by whether the Spurs are able to score enough points of their own.

Milwaukee’s defense is almost guaranteed to offer quality three-point looks and second chance points, and San Antonio will need to take full advantage.
